Going through the Wedding Dresses exhibit at the National Museum of Singapore, I sometimes find myself shock that the dresses are so tiny, and the shoes even smaller. Then, I recall that centuries earlier, women get married off when they are girls, young girls. Unmarried women my age now will definitely be known as left on the shelves.
